Vocational courses with 'NVQ' in their name are linked to the occupation and ensure that holders are able to carry out work to UK occupational standards.A qualification allows you to demonstrate competence in supervising professional work to the level required by the construction industry.

The qualification is based on a portfolio, there are no examinations but an on-the-job assessment - a qualified assessor collects so-called evidence of work.

The whole procedure is divided into stages: Registration, Unity (questions for a given qualification), Assessment, Certificate.
