GHOST-HOW DOES THE GHOST IMMOBILISER WORK?

The Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser requires professional installation by an experienced engineer, installation can take place on site or at the customer's home. Unlike traditional systems, the Ghost Immobiliser does not have remote controls or an LED indicator which indicates its presence and following a cable to its location. Ghost Immobiliser uses factory buttons in the car, such as the steering wheel, door panels and centre console, to allow the entry of a unique PIN code sequence, which must be entered for the first time before you can drive the car. Just like a credit card, not just a four-digit PIN but up to a maximum of 20 presses will make your car's PIN even more secure and practically make it number 1 on the market in terms of detection and anti-theft effectiveness . This is the chip and pin for your car!
FEATURES
No cutting of the car's factory wiring is required, which means the installation is safer
Immobilisation consists in blocking the digital CAN bus communication with the ECU
PIN code via buttons on doors, steering wheel, centre console
Not detectable by computer diagnostics
The system cannot be bypassed using the key scanning method of any radio frequency signals
It is not possible to steal a car with a so-called suitcase, i.e. extension - redirection of the transmitter signal such as key, remote control (keyless entry)
Cloning keys or making new ones will not help
Not easy to locate due to lack of sound from the relays which can lead to the installation site
And if the original keys are stolen, the thief will not be able to drive away
without a unique PIN code known only to the car owner
The Ghost immobiliser has been programmed and prepared to work with a wide range of vehicle manufacturers and is constantly being added to this list.
Please see one of our short films at the links below for an example of how it works
